Friday night, the Moon moves into Sagittarius and into sextile to Saturn in Aquarius. It’s not long till Mercury moves into fellow fire sign Aries and orb of sextile to Saturn (exact Saturday night). That fire continues till Sunday evening. Most of the weekend we’ve got a fiery mood with fiery, action-oriented attitude.

Both the Moon and Mercury go on to sextile Mars as well, Mars being Mercury’s current sign ruler. For the Moon this happens Saturday morning, but Mercury stretches that influence into the coming week. Words whip up action. Communication with that Mars influence is active, innovative, sharp, and possibly off the cuff. As the touch of Saturn persists, it’s a hand on the back of a collar – reeling it in, providing an opportunity to mitigate consequences.

Mercury sextile Saturn provides support through the perspective of a greater sphere of influence and a longer timeline.

Mercury also moves into sextile with Gemini Venus as Venus moves along in trine to Mars. Mars and Venus move into a grand trine with retrograde Juno in Libra. Add in Aries Mercury and we have a kite that coalesces over the next several days.

Mercury sextile Venus brightens our outlook, adds sparkle and alleviates boredom. Choices emerge. Mars in the mix spurs zip and adds bounce to the step, experimental action for a cause. Together the three in a kite with Juno cement a desired grab for some temporary normal that crackles with sex appeal. It’s the strangeness of it all that’s appealing, but the familiarly of appeal itself that bites with pleasure.

All weekend, it’s all air bringing fuel to a Mercury fire. The action takes place in the air, over the air, through the mind but also the senses. It is a temporary appeal, but the addition of Juno in Libra can add some staying power. If it’s pleasant, it may last – may be worth keeping in some form or other. Words and sensations make a lasting impression. They’re an imprint on our model of love and relationship.

Over the next week, we get a chance to (somehow) put our plans into action (walk our talk), but we can expect some dedicated help in that regard. Look for your own window of opportunity and be ready when it opens.

Late Friday night, the Sadge Moon opposes Venus and quincunxes Uranus as Venus sextiles Chiron with Uranus on their midpoint. The Moon sextiles Mars as well. We need some charged up pleasure and its a rare opportunity to grab some enlivening, thrilling feels. Pleasure is fleeting, but it’s worth it. It’s fun, and it’s satisfying.

Saturday night, the Moon squares Neptune and Mercury sextiles Saturn exact. There may be sobering communications and they may not be what we wanted to hear, but they will have lasting effects and lay the groundwork for something greater than satisfaction in the moment. Pay attention to what you long for but aren’t getting. Alternately, this may be exactly the good news we were hoping for but didn’t expect in the form in which it comes.

Sunday, the Sagittarius Moon trines the Aries Sun. Warmth and enthusiasm accompany action. It’s not a day to waste on something that doesn’t warm your heart and stretch your legs (even if you’re just stretching on and enjoying the sofa). In the evening, the Moon moves to Capricorn and the mood sobers, but it also moves into trine with Uranus in Taurus. There’s a spark of pleasure there somewhere.
